A book that changed how I think

It was not on the syllabus. I found it on the third shelf of the library, the one nobody reaches, and I read the first twenty pages standing up.

Reading it twice, a week apart

• The first read was for the story.
• The second was for the questions the author never answers.
• The third, a week later, was for the sentences I had underlined and forgotten.

It taught me to ask before agreeing.

I still disagree with half of it. That is probably why I keep going back to it.
